Christopher J. Conoly is a partner in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Conoly practices civil litigation with a strong emphasis on first-party property insurance defense and the representation of insurers and their insureds. His practice includes handling insurance coverage dispute claims, insurance fraud litigation, automotive liability, premises liability defense, negligent security, construction defect, product liability, personal injury, and wrongful death matters.
Prior to rejoining QPWB, Mr. Conoly practiced with an insurance defense litigation law firm in Orlando. He has successfully represented insurance carriers in insurance coverage disputes, personal injury protection litigation, subrogation claims, insurance fraud litigation, and general liability defense. He has deposed numerous medical providers and has conducted Examinations Under Oath on behalf of carriers regarding vehicle theft, billing for services not rendered, and staged accidents.
Previously, Mr. Conoly handled real property litigation in the representation of lenders and servicers in foreclosure actions, where he successfully conducted numerous Motions for Summary Judgment hearings and bench trials. Mr. Conoly also has experience representing businesses along the Gulf Coast regarding their damages claims, resulting from a 2010 oil spill involving British Petroleum, under the Deepwater Horizon Court Supervised Settlement Program.
Mr. Conoly received his Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law in May 2012 and Bachelor of Science from Florida State University in 2007, graduating with a major in Economics.
Mr. Conoly is licensed to practice law in Florida; he is admitted in the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Northern, and Southern Districts of Florida.
