Amirah Mohammad is an associate in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., handling commercial litigation and focusing in the areas of labor and employment law, insurance defense litigation, bodily injury defense including slip and fall claims, construction accident claims, automobile liability, premises liability, product liability and negligent security.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Mohammad was a litigation associate with an insurance defense law firm in Miami, Florida where she focused on the representation of first-party insurance defense claims.
Ms. Mohammad received her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law in May 2019 and Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude from Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas in May 2016, graduating with a major in political science. While in law school, she was Articles Editor of the FIU Law Review and graduated with the Book Award in Contracts. Ms. Mohammad served as Vice President of External Communication of the FIU Moot Court Board of Appellate Advocates. She served on various moot court programs and attended competitions placing as a semi-finalist and within the top five range, and in the runner up category.
Ms. Mohammad is licensed to practice law in Florida. She has taken and passed the Uniform Bar Exam and her Certification is pending.
Ms. Mohammad speaks, reads, and writes Arabic with fluency.
