Gregory K. Rettig is a partner in the Pensacola office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.  Mr. Rettig focuses his practice in the areas of commercial and civil litigation.  He handles a wide variety of general liability and property damage claims.  He is well-versed with claims involving construction defect, personal injury, property damage, as well as claims arising from professional activities of architects, engineers, directors, officers, brokers, and agents.  He also represents attorneys in legal malpractice claims.  Mr. Rettig’s practice includes in-depth knowledge of medical malpractice claims on behalf of physicians, nurses, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and long-term care facilities.  He has taken numerous medical malpractice claims and other personal injury matters to jury verdict as first and second chair.

Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Rettig was a partner with a regional Pensacola insurance defense law firm, where he represented clients’ interests in state and federal courts throughout the Florida Panhandle in matters pertaining to all of his current areas of practice.  There, he served as first chair in five jury trials involving personal injury.

Mr. Rettig received his Juris Doctor from Florida State University in May 1999 and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida in December 1995 with a major in political science.  During law school, he was a member of Phi Delta Phi and served as a representative of the student bar association.

Mr. Rettig is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a member of The Florida Bar. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida.
