Anthony B. Gray is an associate with the Lexington office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.  He concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury litigation, medical malpractice defense, workers’ compensation claims, landlord/tenant issues and criminal defense.

Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Gray was an associate attorney with a Richmond, Kentucky law firm where he practiced in the areas of civil, domestic and criminal defense.  Previously, he was an assistant Commonwealth Attorney in Lexington participating in over 28 felony jury trials and subsequently appointed Special Assistant Attorney General, briefing and arguing criminal appeals before the Kentucky Court of Appeals.  He was also with the Fayette County Attorney’s Office as an assistant county attorney handling felonies and misdemeanor prosecutions, participating in over 12 jury trials.

Mr. Gray received his Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law in May 2007 and Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky, majoring in journalism in 2004.  During law school, he was the recipient of the William R. Garmer Excellence in Trial Advocacy award which he received in 2006 and 2007; he was also the recipient of the James and Mary Lassiter Fellowship.  While in law school, he served as a law clerk for the Office of General Counsel of the Administrative Office of the Courts in Frankfort, Kentucky.   Mr. Gray was a member of the University of Kentucky Black Law Student Association.

Mr. Gray is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and in Tennessee; he is also admitted in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky.  His professional memberships include the Kentucky Bar Association and Fayette County Bar Association.

Mr. Gray serves as a member of the Minority Business and Development Council; Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear has appointed him to serve on the Governor’s Minority Employment, Business Affairs and Economic Development Council for a term of four years, expiring April 2018.
