Joshua D. Roth is an associate in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Roth practices in the areas of insurance defense and insurance coverage and bad faith litigation actions, personal injury defense, premises liability, trucking, product liability, wrongful death, governmental liability defense and commercial litigation. 

Mr. Roth is an experienced trial lawyer, prior to joining QPWB, he focused on general insurance dispute matters with an Orlando law office concentrating in bodily injury and uninsured/underinsured motorists claims. He handled all aspects of personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial involving automobile, motorcycle, semi tractor-trailer, boating accidents, spinal cord and brain injuries, wrongful death and other general insurance disputes.  Previously, he represented a law firm’s insurance defense practice, where he handled first and third claims for a nonprofit insurer.

Mr. Roth received his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami Gardens, Florida in December 2012; he received both, a Master and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida in May 2010 and May 2008. During his graduate studies he was a member of the editorial board and interdisciplinary committee for the Journal of Law and Public Policy. As an undergraduate student, he minored in French language and obtained a Certificate in Translation Studies in French to English interpretations.  He utilizes the French language to facilitate existing client comprehension and diversify his client base.

While in law school, Mr. Roth was a member of the moot court board and won Best Brief Award at the Intramural Moot Court Competition. He received the Book Award in Jurisprudence Seminar and was elected vice president of the International Law Society. He was a certified legal intern with the Office of the Attorney General in Miami, FL and also interned with the Office of the City Attorney at North Miami Beach, FL and the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs in Washington, D.C. 

Mr. Roth is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a member of The Florida Bar. He is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. Court of International Trade.

In his community, he served as a Guardian ad Litem with the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association.

Mr. Roth is proficient in French.
