Jordan Matyas and the Matyas Law Firm is Of Counsel to Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Matyas has spent over 20 years working in and around government with his practice emphasized in complex legislative, regulatory, and procurement matters.  In addition to his law firm, Matyas is an advisor at 1818 An Advocacy Group created to help businesses connect with government.  Most recently, he served as Chief of Staff for the Regional Transportation Authority, supervising a staff of 120 people and a budget of $38 million.

Prior to that, he served as the Illinois State Director for the Humane Society of the United States. Mr. Matyas has worked at almost every level of government including the White House, the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations, the Illinois Legislature and the City of Chicago Law Department, among others.

Mr. Matyas’ clients are diverse. His areas of practice focus on  consumer lending, housing, taxation, medical care, food service, water management, software development, workers compensation, and energy savings.

Mr. Matyas has litigated and represented clients on a variety of issues including personal injury, building code violations, financial regulations, toxic torts and a variety of other subjects.

Mr. Matyas received his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School, Chicago, Illinois in 2004 and Bachelor of Arts from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. in 2002 graduating with a major in public policy.

Mr. Matyas is licensed to practice law in Illinois.

He serves on the board of the Old Town Triangle Association and Illinois English Bulldog Rescue.
